Anyone know of a good insurance company? Need one that will take a driver on a provisional licence

If you run a classic like a bug or a bus, you'll struggle. I go with Footman James, but they wont touch anyone under 25.

Try going through Volksworld, Ultra, and Practical Classics magazines.
Failing that, you sure you can't wait til you pass your test?

Sorry I can't be of any more help, but if anyone on here can prove me wrong, I'll be glad.

Age isn't a problem I'm 30!! It's the learner part I'm struggling with, tried most in Volksworld, but they won't touch provisional licences.
Waiting for a price back from Adrian Flux who was recommended to me, anyone use him?
The driving test is another long story!!

I had insurance on my Bug with Footman James when I was 18. I think it's probably modifications they don't do for under 25s.

might be worth getting your test 1st tbh to lower the premium a lot.
However, mail Toad on here, he has his bug when he had a prov license, but I can't remember the name of the co.
A mate passed his test last year & bought a bug the next day - got a quote of £280 f/c from flux (he was 25).
If you do go for it - use limited mileage etc to lower the premium

I went through an online broker called its4me, the company i was insured with was called the link (i think) and it cost me about £400.00
although admittedly i did use the whole years insurance as a provisional because of the 9 (yes nine) tests it took me to pass.

took about an investment in transportation.

Well, that's looking a bit more promising now!

Glad I was proved wrong!
