HI there I know theres no pics or owt posted on this subject but I just wanted a bit of advice. I am after a van and I'm quite open minded and fancied either a bay panel (optimistic I know) or a wedgie. I looked at several wedgie vans at Bus Types and am I right in thinking that watercooleds are just fraught with problems? I looked at 2 with great enthusiasm but had the apparent age old problems of lack of antifreeze in the water system and/or cut oil pressure light switches.

I have since had a look at a van I looked at prior to the show and originally snubbed and wanted some advice.

What is a reasonable price for a 71 Danbury?? What should I be looking out for any key factors when buying a van? The owners have had the van for about 15 years and have travelled europe in it and have MOTs dating back to early days.

Also seems they have always had work done by garage/pro etc and no dodgy DIY welding or filler bodges. They have receipts for new engine they had last year.

ANy ideas, questions or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
