drink a bottle of vodka and drive it back, you'll be too pissed to worry about being two feet to the left.
good luck |

driving a left hooker isant that bad, drive it around the block first, its dead easy, youll inpress your self
|
2 choices!
Get in and drive it, you're gonna have to sooner or later! And as Camp Dave said, after 5 minutes, you'll find it far easier and even more natural to drive if you are right handed cos you're changing gear with your right hand! At first, you'll find yourself using the centre road markings to judge your road postion as this is what you naturally do when driving a RHD motor, and you may veer to the centre a tad, but once you've got over that bit and use the left kerb as your line to judge your road position then it's straight forward! Other than that, I can get one of my drivers to drive it up for you as I run a transport company and I know one of them would be more than happy to drive a '62 Rag top back from Colchester!!!:D (Dazza, if you're reading, you can forget flying down there for this one fella!!!!!!) |
lefty's are only a problem when you want to overtake.....
which is not very often in a standard beetle:shake: |
thanks

left hookers feel much better to drive than rhd.
first time i drove my bus i had to get on the M25 within 5 mins and just had to remember to use the line on the left to guide.....now i prefer it  |
my bays a left hooker and it's does seem easier to drive than the bug which is a right hooker. And it's great fun when you pull out to overtake a truck and there's something coming the other way. The look of horror on your passengers face is priceless. Sweet looking bug by the way:D
|
absolutely bloody georgeous!!!!
and left hookers are easy, you will get the hang of it no probs good luck :D |

also i kinda like the fact of driving a lefty cos it makes you feel extra special! have fun! |
you get more fun carrying a spare steering wheel too and winding up other motorists :D
