78 bay gearbox, what alterations is required to allow a 78 box to fit a 70 bay.( what i can remember is the front mounting & the pressure plate due to the thrust bearing is different).... :)

think i have a couple of 73 boxes if there any use, might be simpler to replace with similar?

just a thought?

whats your offer?

sorry ones out of a 73 the others a c or co code if i remember right one had a 'late' style slidiing release bearing with the tube
the c/co doesent have the tube set up

ill check the codes on both tomorrow?

but im away on holiday for a week from this w/e

got any bug bits or splitty to trade?

for the right price i'll have both box's of you,sorry no splitty parts but i do have garage full of late bug parts:

stock fuel pumps 3quid each
1303 rear wing, 5 quid (drivers side)
1303 springs 8 quid
1303 speedo 5 quid
late front wing rust free, 5 quid (passenger side)
late engine lid with vents, 4 quid each
late front h/light's, 3.00 each
late rear lights, 4 quid each
late gearbox's, 20 quid (code number AA box 1200cc)
allsort's off late glass
late petrol tank, 4 quid
late speedo's 5 quid each
box full of relays,12/6volt bulbs,fuse boxs
oil coolers 4 quid each
boxs full off various odds & ends
etc etc etc etc

there are lots more just ask me what you require & we'll come to some sort of deal :)

yea late stuffs not my bag sorry
pm me an offer if you like theyre no good to me so the both would be good to go

need repair panels for a 61 bug, floor and heater chanels too !
