sorry this is prob an old hat topic by now but can any one tell me how easy it is to change a beam on a bay

not bad tbh. Pretty much the same as a bug, just bigger.
Take all the trailing arms etc off with the beam in place and then take the stripped beam off, otherwise it's very heavy. If your ball joints are ok, just undo the grub screws that hold the arms to the torsion bars and take them off in one go and replace in one go.

alright mate, just down the road from ya in amblecote. Let us know if ya need a hand as just done the same job on our bus last saturday.

Managed to remove it in 2 hours and strip it down to bare beam after 5 hours (having many cups of tea along the way :D )
