Help please cos I haven't got the patience!!

Timing on my '14 is up the shoot. Found out that the distributor hasn't been tightened, and could be anything upto 359 degrees out!!!

well, not too difficult if you've got points, and you can see the pulley, but when you ain't got points and you can't see the pulley, it's a different game!!

It will get back on the road one day!!

Soon!!

1.7 and 2.0L 27deg at 3500rpm
1.8L 7.5deg BTDC at 900rpm

(Vacuum hose disconnected)

I'm sure you've probably already found this info :)

No vacuum on mine!!
Not a stock motor!!
It's a 2.1 with Euro Race cam, Dual 40's, lumenition ignition, blah de blah.
Did set it up at 7.5 BTDC at idle and then
tried it at 27 BTDC at 3500 revs but still not perfect!

Oh well, I think it may just need a bit more tweaking here and there!
The main thing is that it's running again after a 2 1/2 lay up!!
