Any one got any hints on how to get the arm off a bay steering box

Toby has tried to hold the arm in a vice and knock the shaft through it, but that hasn't worked, he has also tried with a hammer and chisel

I hate to see a grown man cry  so can anyone offer any advice on what else to try....... it is kinda urgent cos he needs to get the steering box fitted back onto the van so that it can be moved to it's new home.
Thanks
Jacqui :)

Toby used an angle grinder to cut the other one out - he did have a proper puller, but he broke all the bolts on that so ended up having to cut it out

The question was for the steering arm that he has to put back in ........ he finally managed to get the arm off using heat, brute force and lots of bad language

Next step is to get it back on the van so that we can get a trailer organised to shift it :?

Next question  what kind of oil goes into the steering box :?:

Thanks for your help folks :D
