roasted one of my newly shoed rear brakes last night

once cool and freed up, pedal felt all spongey


came home today intending to bleed them to find this !

can the brand new shoes still be used or are the screwed ! :? :(

personally i would replace them.might clean up with brake cleaner
but is it worth the risk?

fair point !

pity they were only installed last weekend !


got the garage by where i work to fit them,

they put in a new cylinder on the other side and said this one looked fairly new too !

id take it back to them and let them do the work --should be free --just blame them and kick up a fuss
