Have an electrican problem - can anyone help

Turned off ignition and the vehicle continued running - had to disconnect the battery lead. Vehicle started OK then would not turn off again. Dynamo light is off but slightly flickering. Have been informed this is a voltage regulator problem - has anybody experienced this or known this to happen.

With a name like that, I thought you would be able to fix your own electrical problems :)

Could be ignition switch, wiring to regulator from ignition circuit (have you messed about with wiring lately?) or the regulator itself (which has it's own in-built cut-out switch when the ignition is turned off).

have not messed with wiring,do you know how to test regulator
or should i get new one?

Personally, for the sake of £15 I'd throw another one on there.
