hi guys,
right, bit of a weird question, not really sure how to describe it, but when i lift my clutch pedal up i get like a low pitched squeaking/creaking sort of sound, its not from the gearbox or the plates themselves, it sounds like its actually from the pedal assembly, could be wrong though. its fine when i push it down, and when i release it quickly its not to bad either, its just when i lift it up slowly! any ideas?? could it simply be something needs oiling?

Sounds like the pedal cluster poss being dry.

Try getting some spray grease on it. Even WD40 will cure it but will not last long but will give you your answer if it stops.
