hey guys,

my 34 pict/009 flat spot is back again, this time with avengence! ive decided that i wanna get my stock engine tuned by a proffesional, i phoned up a local company in cradley called hi-tech (anyone been there?) with a rolling road, and they quoted me £70 for the tune-up, plus parts, it sounds a bit expensive to me, what do you guys think? is it also true you have to sign a disclaimer in case they blow your engine??? are there any other places i should try??

thanks,

matt

£70 sounds reasonable, its a couple hours labour cost plus parts like jets etc. And I'd be surprised if you have to sign a disclaimer for a tune up! Its usually when they build an engine for you and they dyno test it for peak power and torque, you usually have to pay for the build before the testing too!
