Hello everyone,

My hubby has just brought his first Beetle, (he will signing up here soon) but he has a slight problem, it starts up fine, drives OK, then after 5 mins it starts to judder, if you drop it down a gear give it a good thrapping then back to orginal gear it's fine but then does it again after a few mins.

He has replaced Ignition Leads, Spark Plugs, Rotar Arm, Distributer Cap.

It's very strange as we collected this car from Monmouthshire and it got all the way back to Worc's with no problems.

Any one got any ideas.

Thanx :?

i would check to see if the choke is opening -remove air filter and see if flap is in a near vertical position, but only after the engine is nice and warm,5 to 10 mins-
if that is ok let us know and i'll have another think :D
