anyone done one?
A mates has just gone on her mk2 1.8 cl.
Or has anyone had one done recently by a garage and gan give me a rough idea of price?

I did on the jetta last october, I'll finish it soon! :D

Its easy as long as you use the special tool for getting the exhaust off (I'll lend it you), and you get the engine at tdc for no1 piston, and don't move it!
Then just follow the haynes manual.

easy enough just make sure you make both faces are clean,cam timing set at TDC & a little tip take out the hydraulic tappets & squeeze out the oil or otherwise you may not start the car very easy once done. :)
