alright m8.

I know post '70 engines are ok on unleaded, little unsure about before then.

Unleaded conversion kits are available but they're about £300 but do included heads and stuff. Not needed if it's a post 70 engine.

I'm sure someone on here will come to your rescue and say that I'm talking shit!!! :D...

PS: Welcome to the forum!! :D

run it on the green stuff with no worries.

no need for any conversions which is nice :D

68 on engines are fine, just retard the ignition a couple of degrees to account for the lower octane rating.

As for the seals, get a complete gasket set from GSF. £10.50+vat, flywheel oil seal and rubber ring £2.00 & 90p +vat.

Should be all you need. :)

cheers guys thanks for your help. one more question. how easy is it to replace all the window seals on the car? and where would i get them from?

pretty straightforward, just need some string and an extra pair of hands.
Last set of bug rubbers I got where from custom and commercial and were a spot on fit
