Right..... Bus turns over if i keep my foot flat on the acc but then she doesnt make any revving noises.... she is just gently ticking over....

Not so long ago, someone said that the fanbelt had been tightened too much and the bearings were goin in the alternator. Well..... Would the lack of power be down to the alternator not charging properly.

I have to let her run for about 15 mins b4 she has enough power to actually move!

wierd, unlikely to be anything to do with the alternator, possibly something to do with the choke (would go off after the engine warms up). try disconnecting the power to the choke and see if it makes any difference.
