Hey can anyone help, my bug goes clunk nicely as i accelerate usually only from 1st depends how heavy my foot is feeling into second weather it does it agen, It seems to be coming from under the passenger seat. My gf dnt like it, seems to think the car doesnt like her and is going to giv way! lol also huge problems with leaking of oil and petrol have a huge trail leaking down the road from my car! NOT GOOD!

Fit a new set of rocker cover seals and a new sump gasket thingymejig and that should sort some of your leaks out.. Beetles always leak... it's natural :D


As for leaking petrol :shock: :shock: make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy!

if it's leaking petrol,thats bloody dangerous mate.you need to get that sorted ASAP.don't drive it until it's sorted
the clunk could be the gearbox mount knackered
oil tends to leak from various places :shock:

alrite fixed petrol and oil leakage! new hoses etc. will chek gearbox mount . cheers
