:shake: i have been to look at a 1962 rag top bug that was on ebay but i found her b4 she went on it so long winded ill leave the rest out any way shes in real good nic n well i went to see her n said HELL YEP the second i spoted her payed for her n came away a very happy girl ...now the bad bit lol shes a lefty n i havent got the balls to drive her down as shes in colchester so fellow dubbers can you help with info n where i can get a low lowder or a some transport to bring her home i tryed callin every place i could think of n guess what no joy i need to get her home on sunday so if any one knows of some one with a trailer or any think or come up with a plan please let me know thanks again xxm;)

driving a left hooker isant that bad,drive it around the block first, its dead easy, youll inpress your self :tup:

2 choices!

Get in and drive it, you're gonna have to sooner or later!
And as Camp Dave said, after 5 minutes, you'll find it far easier and even more natural to drive if you are right handed cos you're changing gear with your right hand!

At first, you'll find yourself using the centre road markings to judge your road postion as this is what you naturally do when driving a RHD motor, and you may veer to the centre a tad, but once you've got over that bit and use the left kerb as your line to judge your road position then it's straight forward!

Other than that, I can get one of my drivers to drive it up for you as I run a transport company and I know one of them would be more than happy to drive a '62 Rag top back from Colchester!!!:D

(Dazza, if you're reading, you can forget flying down there for this one fella!!!!!!)

:D i cant thank you enough you are all so kind.....as for pics i have them on an email so if you drop me a line at i will send them on to you still not got the hang of postin them on the forum or worked out how to as yet lol but will when i get her down come to the next meet in her n hope you all love her as much as i do lol xxhugs shell
