Yeah gonna be keeping it. What else would you recommend replacing to eliminate any shimmies or at least to make it safe and to pass an MOT?

We are on a budget, bearing in mind we want to spend no more than £250 and need 4 new wings and 2 new disks too.

my 03 passed the MOT then a week later got the shimmies

wheel balancing sorted that tho

Tried wheel balancing, new bearings and new drums just to be sure, Its definately in the steering somewhere.

Also, anyone know where the i can get a full set of fiberglass wings or if its better to get steel ones?

the tie rods should sort most of it I think.
What type of strut is it? early 3 bolt or late 2 bolt?
The only other things that could cause it are ball joints and the strut top rubbers (between strut & inner wing)

day mouldings do good f/g wings that fit.
Not sure on price tho

Should be a few around good 2/h though.

Just discs or a whole disc setup?
