solid tuned pre 67 look beetle
I've been forced to make a decision between by bug and my bay and decided the bug has to go to a new home...
Body Car is a 1969/70 with pre 67 wings, bonnet, front clip, wings, semi w decklid, US spec lights etc. Car had major surgery about 3 years ago having all new floorpans, sills, quarters and front & rear flitches and a respray. Running Gear All new drums, shoes, bearings etc to the rear with disk brakes and new disks, bearings etc on the front. Lowered front beam with empi shocks Engine Had brand new engine built all professionally balanced and lightened less than 18 months ago and has done less that 500 miles. Specification Brand new engine case Brand new forged barrels and pistons (1641cc) Brand new heads Straight cut timing gears Scat counterweighted 8 dowel crank Scat bolt up rockers lightened flywheel Engle cam Empi breather box full flow oil system external 8 row oil cooler brand new heat exchangers Twin Weber IDF 40 Carbs Flamethrower electronic ignition Brand new Bosch alternator Heavy Duty Performance clutch Other Goodies EMPI T-bar shifter, cd/mp3 player, US spec high-back seats and plently of spares including 2 bonnets, glass, brand new drivers door, set of door handles etc. The Bad stuff The car itself is solid but due to a few minor dings and scratches since I had it painted 4 years ago it really would benefit from some tlc. I planned to do all that this year hence the spare bonnet and brand new drivers door but due to lack of funds and premises to work on the car I am forced to sell it in its present form. I love this bug! It is very fast! It burnt off both of my old bugs! Soup, I know it will upset you when she goes, but if you are sure then good look with the sale hun!
It is a truely cool and solid bug, whoever ends up with it will be very lucky!

Sadly. Nope!
The better half wants t' look down at Volksworld t' see if there's owt she likes. Finally got it down to "it has t' be a cal looker" for her. Or retro. I dont know....Oh the stress  I'll only know when she finally see's something she likes. __________________
