Right folks, spent the last day and a half stripping the car down, and I can probably answer a couple of the questions!
Sarah88 - sorry, it's on Europa bumpers. Veggie Pickle has some towel rails that he's thinking of selling though.
Garrick - doorcards are all virtually brand new - I'm guessing that they were new right before the car was taken off the road a few years ago. Standard black, no ashtray hole or door pocket holes. Back seat is good, 1200-model (no catches) in standard black basketweave. Front seats were changed for some Ford ones, which aren't ripped or anything, just aren't my cup of tea! Blue cloth and vinyl I think? Come with mounts and runners to fit to floor (car would have been a 3 runner floor but those will fit anything). Being a 1200, it only has the centre vent - I know i've seen some of the pipework bits as I've been packing the boxes up. Windscreen we've definately got - it's a Triplex replacement one, fairly recent by the look of it (complete with an old school "on a mission" sticker!)
Guz - I really wanted to keep the engine all together, but I have got another alternator if you want that? £20 sound ok? I've never run it but I think it works - came off a car I broke years ago. If you want it, have it, and try it out, and pay me if it works. Postage would be ridiculous - probably cheaper to meet up somewhere? Telford x-mas bash? If you still want it posting, I can find out the price for that, but thought I'd best give you the option! (Posted a pair of Scirocco backlights and front indicators last week and that came to over £13! The alternator is much heavier.)
For anyone else - car was a mid-'74 1200-model. Other bits up for grabs that I can think of off the top of my head are:
A good roof with immaculate headliner (let me know quickly about this or it'll be crushed on saturday!)
Dashboard - cut for larger stereo but other wise good (again, still in car but I will cut out if needed)
Complete front beam including steering box, drums and everything
Late 2-stalk steering column
Billet aluminium door pulls (silver)
Aluminium handbrake cover (anodised purple)
Full set of glass with retro Headworx and Stussy stickers! ('71-up, large rear screen)
Full set of Cal look window rubbers for above glass
Bonnet - a bit crispy at the bottom but top corners are good where they normally go!
Rear wings - again virtually new before car was taken off road, complete with elephants feet lights
Wingtop indicators
Glovebox liner with bonnet catch lever (catch also available)
Europa bumpers - genuine, not repro, lightly pitted but not rusty, with irons. Back one has slight damage (small crease)
2 complete sets of gravel guards (pressed aluminium ones, not robris!)
Pair of 1" wheel spacers for 4 stud wheels
Other assorted odds and ends (door locks, handles switches etc - I've completely stripped it as far as I can! All thats left in is the gearbox as it's a bit bent...)
Going back over to do a bit more. Anyone want anything, give me a shout on 07813 911757. If I don't answer I'm probably grinding something so don't leave a message, send a text and I'll get back to you when I can.
