Whats a project bay worth these days?
Now a few years back i'd have said it's worth the value of the engine and not much more, but with busses fetching crazy prices what do you reckon?
78 devon moonraker (so massive 6 berther) rock and roll bed and other interior (all out at the moment). Had the chassis all welded, needs sliding door bottom, rear corners, rear hatch, rear wings and front inner arches (the bit that sits directly in the line of fire of crap coming from the wheels!).
got a recon 1600, and everything else is servicable. so needs a bit of welding / patching up (but the tricky stuff is done), and a interior refit.
what do you reckon is a grand - £1500 optomistic in the current climate?

Well,
This one's just been bought for £500 so ??

At the end of the day, it's up to the buyer whether they wanna pay or not.
My mate is selling a 77 dormobile, Taxed & tested, full interior, 3/4 width bed, cooker, sink, fridge etc for £1500. Needs painting & doorskins & a few other bits but it's on the roady & ready to go.

My sentiments exactly i still beleive project bays are worth the engine price (bout £175 if i remeber correctly  )
It's a friend of mine that needs as much cash as possible to buy a transit so he can keep working (landscape gardener), the bus has been his for around 12 years (used to be a rave tour bus!) and now needs more work than he can afford panels for! I've already done the out riggers, jacking points sills and various other patches but it's stopped there really!
I suppose fleabay could be an answer, but i dont think he'll get what he needs for it!
