you rermember when you used to take tin lids off with a tin opener , divesifying slightly now , but in the same vein , but don't you just love to lick heinz tomato soup from a jagged tin lid ,

being a posh london type i use a spoon (silver of course) to scrape the lid of my marks and spencer yoghurts
