not sure how good velcro would be really as it would rely on the strength of the stick back, unless it was sewn on. Small strips would be possible to sew on i suppose?

failing that i wonder what the cost of having the zips professionally replaced would be? even if it was as much as a ton it wouldn't be that much each?

as for the window? leave it as it is - its a battle scar! or alternatively clear sticky back plastic on both sides?

As I said before Tammy has a sewing machine and has sewn zips and velcrow before just depends on how tough the material is coz it aint an industrial one may break needles if its too tough.
Maybe we should get the towers down one of the meetings so we can get together and check out the damage and then make a decision between us.

Anything been sorted for the towers? I could see if my upholstery tutor would sew the zip edges up and re attach the zip, got industrial machine and would probably do it muchos cheapos.

We were talking about this on Tuesday. If purchas is getting the elasticy thingys, then all that needs doing is the zips, and where the stitching is coming undone on the peak.

If your tutor could do it, then that would be cool
