How many tests did you lot have until you passed?
12 lessons , back in the day when Charles Clarkes used to sell B M C cars , and also used to run a driving school , theres a lot of flats where the shwroom used to be Learned to drive in an Austin 1100

Oh yes , passed first time The test centre used to be by the Abbey , I was so exited that I nearly crashed dad's car on the way home .

Think i have a picture of me standing by me dad's '65 1100 , complete with long hair + flares , thank goodness the scanner isn't working

and a minibus and a 7.5 tonne truck

I'm the same which is nice 8 Lessons 1 test despite the fact the driving instructor turned up with a different car on my test day i'd been driving a metro for my lessons and he turned up in a brand new fiesta! Apparently another pupil had stuffed the metro in a ditch

Luckily i'd been practicing in my old mans sierra so it wasn't too much hassle, still got a minor for 'use of ancillery controls' i couldn't work out how to turn the immobiliser off

15 lessons for me and passed first time. I've still got a paper license though - I'm holding out as long as possible before I get a plastic crappy thing!

Jees how the hell have you guys remembered how many lessons you've had????
I know I passed first time but that's it?
Bloomin hec it was 18 years ago after all !

Did you also know that they don't automatically carry your 7.5t entitlement over when you apply for the new crappy one.
You have to request that it goes over.
