Leisure Battery

Just about to get a 74 Bay and want to add electrics. Been told I need to add a Leisure battery. What bits do I need to get and from where ?
(Based in wolves).

By the way, I have no knowledge of electrics but want to learn ....

L/BATTERY

WHERE IN WOLVES ARE YOU I CAN POP ROUND AND SHOW YOU MY SET UP SIMPLE DONE MYSELF IF YOU WANT

have a look on the rear near the door to see if theres any fuses near there, just need to take the wire from main battery then divert it to the leisure battery.

i used to have the leisure battery on the opposite side to the battery, just added straps etc.

as for charging, you stick a relay in to get both batteries to charge, i forget what fuse it is tho sorry

would'nt mind a varda at your van too ....im tryin to do the same with a 74 bus n havvent a clue! (suppost to be goin away in it mid june and so far back is empty.....no pressure.......) rgds ralph

HI, I picked up the van today. Drove back from South without any problems. Drank a bit if fuel though. Will call to arrange a meeting. Would be nice to get a different view on the general condition and things to do in what order.

Generally needs a tidy up and clean through and then all other things, except bodywork and replacement seating cushions and covers, can wait.
