Is this worth it?

Been offered a K70 for £550 (although including petrol fetching it and getting it back it'll come to about £600)

A 1974 car (not tax exempt ) in blue, ex-concours, still in fantastic nick, fully taxed and MOTd, all the bits are there, and it actually would only take a valet and a cut n polish to make show worthy again. Big history file too.

Seems a bargain, but then again K70s arent worth a great deal, so it may be less bargainous that it first seems.

I've said "yes" on a provisional basis, but should I go through with the deal, or am I being overcharged?

There's a Left Hooker on eBay at the mo.
They are pretty rare but are a bit like Marmite, you either love them or you don't!
If you pass over on it, let me know cos I'd be interested as I saw one on Boxster rims at Deva 2 years ago and it looked cool as fcuk!

It's hard to put a price on them as they don't have the collectability of any air cooled VW and they don't come up for sale very often. It's one of those things, you'll only pay what you think it's worth!

Drop me a pm if you ain't having it, cos I know a man who will

I'd have it for the retro coolness and the fact that it's different.

Where abouts is it?

seems about the money for a minter there's been 2 on ebay recently at around the £500 mark, they are never going to be worth a huge amount cos not many people want one.

That said i would actually really like one and as they are 5 stud porsche pattern cups / fuchs etc bolt straight on! a big of a hit with the slamming stick and your away!

I'd only buy it if your going to keep it tho cos it maybe real tricky to sell on in a hurry!
