Polos

Don't see much about the VW Polo on here.

I've had three of them over the years. I upgraded from the first to my 1.3 Golf (same engine) which is in daily use 21 years later. I bought a Polo Ranger for my good lady which later was passed on to my son. The last one was a tatty Spanish built 1.3 which we traded in after the cylinder head gasket had to be replaced again. Couldn't really fault the first couple, though.

Any thoughts?

Cheap and the words Mk1 ain't seen much in sentences any more, as they are coming rarer and popular amongst the VW scene. There are still some to be had, but find a good original Mark 1 golf/polo/passat/scirroco etc etc is gettinh harder.

Guz did have a nice GLS which was sold to Youngbugger1969 off here.

Small ads in papers and Bargain pages are your best bet!
