Needed for my daughters bug yesterday to be fitted over xmas before she goes back to uni. so pretty urgent as her unis falmouth and I need to fit an engine as well plus mot before th 4th of Jan and as you may or may not know its a bit of a pain at the mo for me. Please do a search on vzi as too long to explain here.
1970 stock valance.* Engine lid can be vented or unvented : pref vented for a 1600cc engine.* 2 or 4 vents will do or be alot better I think. bug is orange if you have that colour but nee worries cus its rat anyhoo.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, then it must be an electrical problem.
I might possibly have an unvented one.
Will mail round and see if anyone does.
You still got the same email address?
hi steve, Im having als old bug off him for casey to take back down to falmouth uni. Think I may want a vented one to get some air round the engine as fitting a 1600 twinport and knowing casey, she will rag it everywhere and heat the engine way over all the time, so don't want a call soon that she's blew it up. dunno what you think??
Al need to modify the valance and lid I think as you know he modded loads with cutting channels out rear seat etc etc
same email mate

Its a bit better in real life than in the pic! Its covered in mud and stuff there.
The extra vent behind the number plate are thermastacicaly operated. All working
