Small block 5 speed gearbox, golf jetta polo *WANTED*
Basically i bought a five speed 1600 engine and box for my small block 1.3 jetta in the hope that the box would bolt onto the jetta.
Should have done my research first...
Anyway there not compatable, what i do need is a five speed box from :-
A small block MK1 golf/jetta,
A small block mk2 golf/ jetta 1.5 litre or below, 5/4+E
or A Mk2 polo GT or similar 5/ 4+E i think is engine code 8P
Rare yes....impossible No....
years ago our family car was a mk2 golf 1.3 which was 4 speed plus E, (economy)....which is the box I want.
Anyone ???
