since the new colours have come in brown black and grey are live blue is neutral and green and yellow is earth
sorry i too is an electrician but not eic approved myself

the colours for three phase as with the demestic installations changed a year or so ago but if your only connecting something to an exsisting instalation the chances are they will be the old colours . . . . . sorry too sound like a boring square but unfortunately i really am this boring lol

no , not boring at all

I AM interested in 'trying' to keep up with the codes and regulations. Its been a few years since I wired a house - and was unaware they had changed the colours since then !

I'm about to revise on all this so I can rewire my current house
