Seeing as many people are in need of a specialist tool or two at some point, how about a list of tools for club members?
I'll assume everyone owns at least a socket set and a basic set of spanners!
So PM me a list of your tools that you're
willing to lend out to people, and I'll add it here.
Mr Self Destruct:
- Welder
- Angle grinder
- Drill
- Compressor with tyre pump, impact driver, sprayer etc.
- Torque multiplier with flywheel locking and clutch alignment tool
- 36mm socket with breaker bar & 5' tube
- Helping hand (3' bar that bolts to brakes or flywheel)
- Golf exhaust 'C' clamp removal tool
- Engine stand
- Gearbox/engine support (fits over front wings on a normal car)
- Rigid tow bar
- Golf cam belt tensioner adjusting tool
- Valve spring compressor (bolts to rocker shaft with an air valve that screws into a spark plug hole, letting you replace springs without removing the cylinder head)
- Towing A-frame for a Bay
- Universal A-Frame
