threads etc

In case anyones wondering about threads changing / deleting etc, nothing sinister, just trying to get rid of the overabundance of 'club meet this wednesday' threads to avoid confusion. Had a mail from a couple last night wondering if the club was still meeting as they'd seen the post on the forum but thought it was for the week after so turned up to an empty pub. Will add dates to the next one.
However, it seems that eventhough you delete something it can't be deleted

Why not take a leaf out of the Cov Aircooled section?
I put up a sticky with all the club details, then lock it, and edit it with the next meet details after each meeting night.
That way, everyone knows when the meets are, but with only one thread.

not exactly sure what you did there

Had a look through the moderation logs and it looks like you've merged a few threads and then deleted the posts which have left the redirect notices.

I'll clean them up for you
