Anybody got a decent working dynamo for a 1965 6V Beetle? I'm not sure if mine's knackered, battery not being charged well it's charging at about 6V but it should be more I would have thought.
Battery tested OK.
New regulator installed, bushes on dynamo look OK.

If you know what else it could be???

Second problem, car conks out occaionally, turns over but wont fire. Fuel getting to all the right places, so I recon it's electrical. Sparks a bit crap. Going to get a new condenser first, could it be the coil??

Help, I'm fed up of being towed home!
