having a real hard time in getting VT up on my pc was working ok the other day . which ever browser i use it just come back with the message cannot locate server . i usually use firefox but have tried internet explorer and msn and still no joy every other website works ok just not VT
Am useing the laptop at the moment and that is fine ! have tried turning every bit of security off on the pc but just will not load the vt home page !! what am i missing ! any one help plz

Yeah tried that one still no good

Try this:

Click on the start menu, and then click run (on the bottom right). when the little box pops up type in CMD and press enter. A Dos style command line should open. type in IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS and press enter. Then close the window and retry loading VT.

Ok. Sounds like you have a problem with your DNS service, which is the way windows maps domain names to IP addresses. See this link for more info on trying to fix it

thanks for your time dude but still no joy .
just find it odd the way every other site i know is ok appart from vt and all was ok the other night !! think im gonna have too do a bit more head scratching

Right i have tried just about everything i can think off and still no joy before i strip everything off the pc or smack it with the hammer any 1 got any other idea's ??? Its only VT that i carnt access am i missing something really simple ???
