What do you plan to do/achieve in 2009?

Just realised its December and I should start planning for when it gets a bit warmer again. So mine are:

Get my beetle on the road.
Do European Bug-In
Import a car from germany and hopefully go to Wolfsburg while I'm at it

Get down to the south of france, nothern italy and experience some proper driving roads.
Take Rachel to the US as shes never been and I want to go again.
Actually get fit and do the great south run, not get fucked up by glandular fever again and have 5 weeks off work

Try to forget that im going to be 30.
And finally get to Breakfast Club meet

although I may achieve this early if the weather is good next weekend

Reckon that should keep me busy.

1. Keep my job
2. Keep my house
3. Keep my vw's
4. Attend as many vw shows as i can
5. Get a proper engine 4 my bug
6. The list goes on .................

1. Try to renew my enthusiasm for the whole VW thing
2. Finish my 1303
3. Finish my T4
4. Get my gti sorted
5. Get my house looking like a house again rather than a garage with a sofa in it.
6. Get a Bug on the road as a daily so I can wash my hands of that fucking Focus
7. Get a loft conversion
8. Extend the house and build a dining room because I'm pissed off with eating my dinner on my lap for 8 years.
9. Get my mrs over her loan phobia so we can stop living like students despite earning over £65k per year.
10. Start going to meets and shows in an aircooled VW like you're fucking supposed to when you run an aircooled owners club

Same as the last 5 years really.

all i want to plan for 2009 is.

get a job.....if there any waiting fo me
oh and last thing go on holiday have not been on holiday for seven years

i want to.....

1. say yes more to my friends (i guess im starting early as ive said yes to rach (mrs big) to do the tap dancing)

2. save money so i can go travelling or get my own place
3. learn to fix my beetle...... got my haynes manual to the ready as of wednesday
4. enjoy life more and stop taking things for granted!
5. get better at my job and hopefully move up to a networking engineer by end of next year (things are looking good so far)
6. Go more club meetings and shows meet more of you guys!
7. go as many music festivals/ gigs as possible
8. do the race for life in better time than this year!
9. oh and get rid of mortgage/ or sell house!

think thats it!
