You heard of us then ?

Yes, trading for 33 years and responsible for bringing Gates to the UK and building them to where they are now. They then decided last week to cut us out of the supply chain and will no longer deal with us, 50 people out of work over night (me and my wife included).
If you are in the trade you will probably hear that it was because we weren't paying the bills - that's bull, but I can't let on as to the real reason yet for legal reasons.

Based on your location I guessed at who you might be after your first post and had you on my shortlist , how you doing, not spoken for a while.
It was completely out of the blue, our management had a positive meeting with Gates the day before, then received a phonecall that they would no longer trade with us. Their decision is only the beginning and although your company only use them as a supplier rather than distribute for them, it may even affect you, so wouldn't hurt if Ian started work on alternatives.

I've been kept on by the administrators for a couple of weeks, but have a couple of possibilities in the pipeline. I was considering trying to come and work with you, bit of a commute, so pay would need to be good, but it's not as if I don't know my way
