Spoke to the Park Ranger at Baggeridge today to confirm everything and all is good for this weekend.
Plan is to arrive from around Midday. I will be taking the money of people as you arrive so try and have the correct money ready if you could.
Cost is £5.90 per unit.
If the weather remains fairly dry over the next week then there won't be a problem camping in the main field.
if it stays wet then he has suggested that we use the rear car park (still only about a minute from the toilet block anyway, and there is a well drained grassy area to the side for people pitching tents/awnings).
As for fire wood for the open fire, he did suggest that we can use whatever we can find around the place as there's plenty of wood, but it could be a bit damp so maybe an idea to get some of those wood burning logs.
If the weather looks a bit lame then we could take Teflon Towers as well!
If anyone wants to go on the Aerial Adventure then please put your name down below.
Only put your name down if you definitely want to do it so I can gauge interest and book it this week if needed.
For info, cos I'll probably forget, the Park Rangers name on Duty this weekend is Paul Davies. If you arrive before me on Saturday, go to the Park Rangers office (part of the toilet block) and tell him you are camping with the Volkswagen club!

Dont think the plastic and metal would burn too well.
What sort of cost is the aerial thing? I dont really wanna do it cos Im petrfiied of heights and really really unfit. But it would be a good challenge.

Just to add, they've been good enough to allow us to go there as a club, so can I ask that everyone tidies up after them selves so at least we get a chance to be able to go back next year!
I will take some spare bin bags with me and probably our recycling box to recycle the glass bottles (and tea bags!!!!)

I wouldn't have thought you'll have a problem there fella

I'm hoping not too! Never really been an issue at shows but we might have to take some of the rubbish home with us rather than leave it piled up for them!
