Caravan/tent electrical hookups at Charlies

I've been looking at electrical hookups for my bay project, and have noticed that Charlies in Harlescott have in stock the Kampa.co.uk mono and 3-way units which are suitable for campers or tents for a lot less than I can see them anywhere else, including ebay.

The Kampa.co.uk mono unit (1 socket) was for sale for £29.99 and the Kampa.co.uk 3-way unit was for sale for £49.99. A similar item to the latter is £99.99 in Argos (Search argos.co.uk for "mains mobile supply" (without quotes)).

The mono unit has about 1m of lead, the 3-way has 20m.

Ok, it's not a proper plumbed-in job, but those clock in at about £80, and then you still need a hookup lead, which is often £30 in itself. Just thought you all might like to know.

Gaz

Yes I've seen these , on an old Touring caravan I had , I did a similar thing. Bought a double socket with built in protection , the kind you would use for outdoor applliances like a lawn mower for instance .

Mounted this underneath a seat , and ran leads from it to a couple of sokets in the van where they were most useful . Cheap solution to your mains hook up needs .
