I thought I'd let everyone know (in case you've not seen the ads) that there's a really important programme on at 8:00 tonight on channel 4 called "Stealing Freedom"
Its all about the governments attempts to limit our civil liberties and freedoms in the name of "security".
One of the things they're discussing is the proposed ID card scheme the government wants to enforce, which would make us ALL have to provide the government with intimate personal information in over 50 catergories which they propose to keep on a massive national database.
Its really quite shocking what the "powers that be" are up to.

IMHO i dont see the id card proposals as i problem if it helps to keep out all the bombers and iligals and makes my country a safer place for me and my family that can only be a good thing.
As i see it in my simplistic world you only have to worry if you have something to hide.

But what do i know
