Go for a Drive.

New car = boring, watch speed limit.
Old car = Fun, try to hit spead limit.

Something Breaks

New car = Oh no thats more money to spend. How'm I gonna get to work in the morning.

Old car = Oh no thats more money to spend. Now what part can I get thats better/cooler/shinier than the old one.

Cold Weather

New car = Better turn the heated seats on.

Old car = brrrrrrrr brrrr wheres me beany?

It nice to have both sometimes. Cant wait to get an old one again!
