Classic car show at Baggerridge Country Park

for the last 2 years BCDC and Volkstorque have had a small showing at this cozy one day event. if the weather is good then it makes for a really enjoyable day. This year the event is on Sunday 17th May, all and any car is welcome( even Fonz's T4 work van).

we shall be heading down there again this year, and an invite goes out to EVERYONE to come and display your wrecks/show cars (delete as appropriate)entrance is a meagre £1 on the door(actually its a gate)

In addition, BCDC will be showing off thier Culinary skills with a barbque, as per usual, just bring along your burger or sausage or veggie stuff and we'll cook it up a treat for ya.

Can we have a list of definately maybes please, so we can grab the best spot

1. Graingermouses Bay
2. Mrs G's Golf

Baggeridge park, the one just outside wolvo??

I remember doing the security for a folk festival there a few years back, about 3am on the sunday morning i get a call for help from one of the lads at the "main gate" (by the keepers lodge) me and three other blokes go running over to find 3 cars full of youths trying to get in.

The guy on the gate had explained it was closed and wouldn't be open again till 8am but they were all kicking off cos they'd driven all the way from brum (not really that far is it!!) anyway it turned out they'd been "reliably" informed it was a secret rave with loads of hot chicks etc...................when i agreed to allow one of them to be walked around with one of the lads this 6ft+ black lad got out of the front car (big yank 4x4) and went round the site with the bloke who "volunteerd" (ok ok i told him to do it)to escort him round

He came back not looking happy and dragged this skinny little kid out the back of the car right at the back walked him down to us and said "looks like he's got a long walk home then eh fellas", he got back in the 4x4 and they all drove off leaving this poor kid stood there looking suicidal.....................apparently his "best mate" had told him about "the rave and all the half naked wimmin" when he rang him on his mobile

we all rolled around laughing but then felt sorry for the poor little geek, one of the lads offered to take him home in the van

Looks like i'll have to see if i can get the day off ( i work 14hrs a day 7 days a week) to come pay a visit and see what classics turn up................

Just one word of warning, if anyone with a 72 mach1 mustang is thinking of going..............don't let me find your keys

Been to that for the last few years. It's a nice relaxed event. Probably about 60-70 cars and lovely scenery.
Probably pop along this year in the van so count us in!

Also went to the Folk Festival there last year as well.

Lots of real ale but not hot chicks!!

Please don't mention the words Roadie and bottom area bleeds in the same sentence, else he might just bring the pics out as proof!

think it was the bleeding ass that caused the mishap

in fairness, he only parked it in a ditch, it was the pickey recovery truck that wrote it off
