...............SWINE FLU

2 weeks ago, a third of our population was gonna die.

but now it only fetaures on the scrolling news real on the bottom of 60 second news

talk about the media hyping things up,

and our short attention span

When all this hit the news and the "panic mongering" started i said to Kat and Dian "its all bull..what better way to take the little peoples minds of the fact this country has been bankrupted and its MP's are nothing more than thieves than to give them something else to worry about??

but i garauntee gormless brown and his cronies will throw themselves into this so in a few months they can claim how they saved Britain from the swine flu"

Guess i was right about it being bull, the biggest thing about it was the 159 people who died from it in Mexico...........not that 159 people out of an estimated population of 100 million will make that much of a dent and the fact that an estimated 250 a week die in this country from "normal" flu every winter...........the papers were bored, the MP's were praying and this came along bang on time to draw everyones minds away from the sh1t we're already in!!!

And coming up and after the brake, "Where are they now?", This week featuring SARS and bird flu.

Well I agree when there's a chance it could go global we should be made aware so we can change our habbits.

However, Nobody has done, I got sneezed on in Sainbury's the other day, I did turn round and ask if they hadn't seen the swine flu adverts though, only to reveice a mildly puzzled look.

But when the virus itself is less easily passed on than the normal flu virus and more people die in the UK alone from normal flu every year than have died world wide so far, maybe we should take a step back, calm down and take a look at the panic we're spreading for no reason, yet.....muhuhahahahaha!
