flaps

how are these here white wall tire flaps fitted???

iv asked on a couple of other forums, peeps dont seem to like them,

iv seen so many vehicles at shows with them surely they cant be that bad, can they?!

any pics or advice please

You get them fitted at a tyre place.
They do suit some cars but can seriously reduce the lifespan of your tyre (slowly cut through the side of it) from previous experience

thanks for the replys, i wish i had asked the question before i brought them now!!!

i read somewhere about greasing between the tyre and the flap, any one tried that?

Not tried the greasing method but have always been told to use vaseline on automotive rubber as it does not affect it like other types. Just be sure the shop does not think you are going to a Barrymore party when you ask for the biggest tub they have!!!!
