MK3 polo N reg 96 needs help

hi peeps i have my dads polo is at mine as its not running right. ita a 1.6 petrol 8 valve (i think)

it starts and idlels but is lumpy on idle but reves up and well but no power when you drive strugles to get to 20mph and wants to cut out. its had new complete dizzy fitted as was told the old one was wornout and this was fine apart from a bit of lag around 50 ish for about 2 weeks. the other day this problem ocured on the motorway just died of power.

while its ticking over if you pull off number 1 injector conections it cuts out same with number 4 but 2 and 3 it makes no diferance and still runs the same

so i am asuming its either no spark at plugs or blocked injectors????

some peeps said it could be head gasket but it dosent over heat lose water and no white milky build up in the oil and no white smoke from the exhaust?

any ideas as he needs to sell this soon as he has now bought a car to replace it
