Right following fitting the horse shoe plates to the rear of my bus to improve the suspension travel i didnt have ( which it has nicely ) its now not as low as it used to be .
Any how , i have a cut and turned beam on the front and it has a good 6 inch drop ( bottom of beam is about an 1 1/2 inches of the ground ) and hense the bus has quite a rake on it which isnt a major problem but was wondering is it possible to put adjusters the wrong way round so can raise the bus ( about an inch ) ? is this a definate no no ???? a few people ( companys ) have said about doing this and i was just concerned about
1. the stress on the adjusters them selves and
2. haveing another weld on the same section as the cut and turned bit ?
just wondered what people thought as only want about an inch higher and some travel on the shocks and the only other option i can think of is a new beam and adjusters which is going to work out exspensive for the sake of an inch ??
your views if you plz
