Turnkey 1914cc idf's 044's full MSD berg etc

Ok looking to sell this to fund a scooby conversion as the scooby will be better suited to my needs.

Complete turnkey fully working 1914cc beast of an engine

Unfortunatly little is know about the internals (i'll be investigating more this weekend) but this is what i do know.

1914cc
full flowed case
044 heads (42x37)
alloy rocker covers
JMR Blueprinted.

It can be assumed that as a minimum it's an counterweighted 8 dowel crank will fully balance rods etc otherwise this would have died along time ago

Runs a pair of twin 40 weber IDF's, velocity stacks, pipercross filters, cb performance hex bar linkage.

Ignition duties are dealt with by a msd 6al unit, MSD Blaster 2 coil, MSD Leads and a MSD dizzy. will come with spare rev limiter chips and dizzy springs etc.

Full flow with brand new pump, scat billet pump cover, remote cooler, added as i felt it was too warm in the ghia (not much ventilation in there!)

crankcase breather kit.

doghouse cooler and newish tin, new rear tin without any holes.

Exhaust is a berg fully merged header (mild steel with heat wrap) coupled to a full stainless phat boy muffler from VW speedshop.

alternator conversion.

Runs very nicely, revs very freely upto 7k. Alledgedly dyno'd at 180bhp by JMR but i don't have anything to prove that.

All i know is that its a absolute blast to drive and seems a really good strong engine is happy to cruise with the needle off the clock

To fit this engine you'll need a electric fuel pump and regulator or replace the billet block off plate and stick a stock fuel pump on there and a clutch. everything else is there and ready to go.

currently still in the ghia so can be seen running. It's an established engine thats run happily for a while in a buggy and now in a ghia.

Looking for £2,000 and will take a stock turnkey 1300/1600 in p/x (max allowance £250) so that i can continue using the ghia whilst i collect the conversion parts. if i don't get any interest i'll keep it and continue to drive round with a huge grin

I'm not looking to split for parts unless a decent offer is made for the longblock first. If that happens i'll start a new thread selling the bits off seperatly.

Steve i've replied to your pm.

Coxy its the ability to drive round london thats making me want the scooby. Should be a heap easier to handle in traffic

That said this motor does sound awesome in the tunnels on the north circular

No pink beetles required i'm afriad , but the engine might be of use actually scrub that i've seen you rev the nuts off it at bugjam

Bug-er will bear it in mind but really hoping for this lot to go in one lump.
