pple 23" Cinema HD Display (Model Nº M8536)
OK, the great news, this is a Apple 23" Cinema HD Display! :-) It can display 16.7 million colors at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels on its 23-inch (viewable) active-matrix LCD.
OK, the not so great news, this monitor does need some repair :-(
Overall the monitor is a bit grubby, the acrylic case has some minor scratches, the screen is in pretty good nick and it would all clean up pretty well IMHO. Unfortunately as you can see the rear Monitor Stand has broken off, but this really is no big deal as the hinge mechanism looks fine and you can easily buy a replacement acrylic stand for this for approx. £30 (eg; http://www.welovemacs.com/9225577.html) taking advantage of the great exchange rate on the US dollar :-)
However although the monitor Powers up OK with no issues, there appears to be some kind of crack or something projected onto the screen exterior from behind the actual screen exterior causing the image to distort, the screen exterior itself however is NOT cracked. Although I would have the ability to replace the broken stand easily enough, I do not think I have sufficient skills to investigate and repair this secondary issue (whatever it is?), which is a real shame as these monitors are totally awesome! Hence I'm offering it to someone with more skill than myself to repair it. It is therefore sold as seen and can either be seen as something to repair or broken for spares where I'm sure you could make quite a bit of money on it.
