95% turnkey camper recon'ed 1600 T/P engine

In progress is a reconditioned 1600 T/P camper engine,95% complete there is 1 heat exchanger missing & air filter,complete with all tinware,34 pict carb & manifold,exhaust,200mm flywheel & clutch,fuel pump,dynamo, etc etc,,,,

based on a AD AS41 case in good condition with no end float,

micro polished crank,
with new crank bearings,
new big ends,
new cam bearings,
new piston rings & barrels checked & honed out,
reconditioned heads for unleaded fuel,
new clutch plate,
new points & condensor,
new HT leads,
new spark plugs,
engine case & tinware all nicely painted,

ready to run £595.00 exchange considered,,

PS THE ENGINE WILL BE READY & 95% COMPLETE FOR MONDAY/TUESDAY,

Hiya

What price would you consider , if i can bring an exchange 1600 tp about 80% complete , missing dizzy and a couple of bits of tin ware, and the heat exchanger (whichever side is missing of yours) no end float and does run

In fact i have a other engine in the van that runs that i also like to either sell or add to the px for this one .

Please advise, i'm in cov so can deliver and collect

hi,all i can offer is £60 a engine(anymore would'nt be worth reconditioning).

i would like to offer more but with cost machining & parts nowadays??, sorry dude,

also the carb with the engine will be stripped & rebuilt & also there will be a new tail pipe section..

hopefully we can come to agreement/deal

for a 1600cc about £300ish
for a 1641cc about £400ish
both depends on what machining is required to your engine..

if you are interested in my engine the best deal i can do is £495 + 1 engine in exchange,

Could you tell me which side needs the heat exchanger , i can collect either Wed night or Sat .

hi,wed night would be spot on,the side that is missing is number 1 & 2 ( right hand side looking at it with the pulley in front of you),i'll ring you tomorrow about warranty,cheers lee.
