Hi, advertising this for a mate, who has yet to register on here. I have just copied his ad from another well known VW forum.
"i've just removed this 1959 fixed dynamo stand engine from my 1957 beetle due to an up grade,the engine was running fine before i removed it.
the only a couple of thing's it could do with is,1.is a carb with an advance/retard conecter pipe on it as the one fitted although new doesnt have one.
2.the dynamo light was some times flickering on and of,i dont know if it was the dynamo or the regulator box.
the above problems were like that like when i got the car.
its fitted with the correct dizzy and oil bath filter.
all the bits are there starter,newish clutch,exhaust etc.
plus its still running 6v.
its located in birmngham.
right down to the price i'm not sure what this is worth so i'm going to put it up for £275 if this is to much please tell me."
