Fully rebuilt 1200 for sale
Hey all, looking to sell my 1200 ASAP as I simply do not have the space to store it after I remove it from my beetle this week. Its a T1, fully rebuilt and starting/running like a dream. Just timed it the other week as it was set slightly out when it was rebuilt and havent had any problems whatsoever! All new sparks as well.
Very powerful for a 1200, surprised many other VW enthusiasts even to the point where some were doubting that it was still a stock 1200. I believe it is from a camper originally, from america, or at least thats what the previous owner told me. I may have some history on it (I havent looked through the folder yet) for anyone into their book-keeping.
Reason for sale is that I've just rebuilt, balanced and tuned a 1641 twinport with twin webers for some performance, and when I plug that baby in this week Ill need to shift the entire thing (with exhausts and one working heat exchanger) as soon as possible as I have no space for it. The other heat exchanger probably will work as well, it just needs removing and inspecting.
